I've often told you of my 2nd grade experience with Franklin (the lop earred rabbit). In case you forgot, I'll mention it one more time. When I was in 1st and 2nd grade my teacher had a rabbit and she let him hop around the room while we were working. He would come up to us and sniff us, and we could pet him. Each week a few students were assigned to clean his cage and feed him. I loved Franklin dearly. I learned a lot about responsibility from having the classroom rabbit.
For this blog I would like you to write Ms. Holly a letter. In the letter you should tell her about a class pet, or something else you would like for our classroom or the school. The point of this letter is to PERSUADE Ms. Holly. So think back to the paragraph dance. It needs to have a topic sentence, details (at least 3 sentences), and a wrap-up sentence.
I know these will be great. I'm planning on printing out your letters and having a few students deliver them to Ms. Holly. So do your VERY BEST work!
